Have fun moving one of those machines. I have several milling machines some of which are larger and heavier than that one. Don;t try to move it yourself or with your friends if anyone here buys it. Hire a machine dismantle/transport crew to get it out of there and onto a truck and back off and into your shop. People can die when these size machines fall over so it's best left to those exprienced with moving such weight and who have the equipment to do it safely. I've run that same model and a few both larger and smaller. They are very nice when they are set up and running correctly, but are a true headache when the hydraulic system that maintains the proper stylus/cutter response has a problem. Hey! I ran one of those! Leaked like a 80 year old prostate! The seals are OK? If they leak they leak bad one doesn't want hydralic on your fine tonewood! Also, you may not be able to get cams for a true-trace anymore. I also ran a Gorton with a true-trace attachment! Great machines!! Wish I had one! I've used the "Dunkle Bros" machinery movers. Worth every freak'in penny! They do great work on big machinery! They can squeeze that Bad Boy in and out of just about any space you want! Billy Dean Thomas |

I'm sure one could still get seals for it and after thinking about it, the cams would probably be fine for woodworking. Regular machining tolerance would probably be tough! |
